Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation gives out $75K in awards

The Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation recently held their end-of-season meeting and announced that $75,000 was given to the Estero Island Historic Society, Fort Myers Beach Art Association, Keep Lee County Beautiful, Bay Oaks Recreation, Ostego Bay Summer Camps, Friends of Lovers Key, Support for Sailing, The Mound House, Estero Bay Buddies, The FMB Chamber Water Foundation, and Beach Kids Foundation. In addition, scholarships were awarded to 21 college students with ties to the beach.
