Free rides from LeeTran on Monday
Lee County announced that its LeeTran transit system will be offering free rides on all fixed-route buses for Try Transit Day on Monday, April 20. In an announcement of the free Try Transit Day, county officials said the free bus rides are inspired by Earth Day, which takes place on Wednesday, April 22. The free bus rides include all buses to Fort Myers Beach. Riders off island can puck up the buses to Fort Myers Beach at the county's park and ride stations off Summerlin Road and Main Street.
