The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they are calling a “non-suspicious death” after a deceased person’s body was found this morning. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the call to their office came in before 8 a.m. on Sunday. The deceased person was found in the sand in the 2000 block of Estero Boulevard. Lee County Sheriff’s Office Commander Anita Iriarte said a passerby located a deceased female in the sand. “There is no threat to the public,” Iriarte said. “The case is being investigated by detectives and remains active.” No further details were immediately available.
