Island View Sports Bar to hold grand opening, ribbon-cutting ceremony at Lani Kai
Games, giveaways and prizes planned for event
The new Island View Sports Bar will be holding a grand opening and ribbon-cutting at the Lani Kai Island Resort on Fort Myers Beach this Thursday at 5 p.m.
“The celebration will be on the sixth floor of the Lani Kai, and everyone is welcome,” Lani Kai Island Resort Marketing Director Kasey Conidaris-Mendiola said.
The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will be followed by complimentary food samples, specialty shots, games and giveaways/prizes, Conidaris-Mendiola said.
The new sports bar, located next to the Sun Deck restaurant, is also joined by a new game room located between the two restaurants. The sports bar features 32 big-screen, 65-inch television sets and a 105-inch screen at the center of the sports bar with the ability to show every major sporting event, with nearly every major sports package available. There are a host of signed jerseys along the walls from sports legends like Dan Marino, Derek Jeter, Shaquille O’Neal, Jim Kelly, Wade Boggs and others.
The venue looks over the Gulf, with some of the best views of the beach on the island. The Lani Kai Island Resort won the Best of the Beach award for best views this year.
The Island View Sports Bar is open from 11 a.m. to midnight each day. The Lani Kai Island Resort is located at 1400 Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach.
