Florida Highway Patrol collecting food

The Florida Highway Patrol 2025 STUFF THE CHARGER nonperishable food drive starts on November 1, and extends through November 30.

The Florida Highway Patrol is accepting donated nonperishable food items at any of their stations.

The collections will be relayed to the Harry Chapin Food Bank, which provides food to those in need for most of Southwest Florida.

The following items are needed:

Canned Goods: canned meats (ham, chicken, tuna), canned potatoes, carrots, corn, green beans, canned fruits, vegetables, and soup.

Dried Goods: stuffing, boxed potatoes, rice, cornbread mix, grits, cereal, and oatmeal.

Other Goods: nuts, peanut butter, evaporated milk, bottled water, and broth
