Lee County 4-H Foundation announces fishing tournament fundraiser

2 min read

The Lee County 4-H Foundation is gearing up for one of its most popular community events of the year-the Annual Family Fishing Tournament Fundraiser on May 2, 2026, at Mike Greenwell Regional Park.

Anglers of all ages and skill levels are invited to compete in this fun, family-friendly tournament, with all proceeds supporting scholarships for local youth and funding 4-H programs throughout Lee County. You do not need to be a 4-H member to participate-just bring your gear and get ready to fish.

Each registered angler receives a tournament dri-fit t-shirt, a tournament bucket with score sheet, and a meal ticket for the post-event dinner.

After the tournament, participants and guests are invited to join us for awards, dinner, and raffles beginning at 4:00 PM. Not fishing? You can still be part of the action-community members are welcome to attend the awards dinner for just $10.

Since 2009, the Lee County 4-H Foundation has awarded scholarships to graduating high school seniors involved in 4-H, helping them pursue college, university, or technical education. Every applicant receives support, making this fundraiser critical to continuing that impact.

Whether you’re competing on the water or joining us for dinner and raffles, your participation directly supports local youth and future leaders.
