Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation thanks community for support
The Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation would like to thank the entire community for their support of our recent King’s Casino Fundraiser at DiamondHead Resort. Alex King’s generous sponsorship, as well as sponsorship by Gavin’s Ace Hardware and Lorna Lotrell Photograph, made it possible to raise $14,000 that will be returned in total to the Fort Myers Beach community for those in need.
The Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation has been responding to the needs of residents for over 10 years by providing support in the areas of education, health, welfare and a dedication to preserving our environment and history.
The Foundation is currently preparing to distribute over $100,000 to organizations in need and will do so at its annual year end meeting on May 7th.
