Friends of the Mound House to host annual meeting
To the Editor:
Come and join us to hear a program entitled “Historic Docents Tell All.” The Friends of the Mound House will hold their annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. At our Fort Myers Beach Library. Dan Hughes portraying Mr. Long, a former resident of the Mound House, will mingle with you as refreshments are serves. Early stories told by A.J. Bassett from the Estero Historic Cottage and Ceel Spuhler from the Mound House should make an interesting afternoon. A short business meeting will be held afterward in the rear of the hall while guests may look at the pictures that have been displayed.
