Patsy C. Logan
BRISTOL – Patsy C. Logan, 92, of Bristol, IN and Ft Myers Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at her home after a short illness. She was born in Goshen, Indiana, the daughter of Kenneth and Pauline Zook.
Patsy graduated from Goshen High School as class valedictorian. She was awarded the Senior Citizenship Award and participated in many activities, including serving as lead in the Senior Class Play, National Honor Society, Editor-in-Chief of the annual yearbook, and as a cheerleader. These early accomplishments reflected the intelligence, leadership, and enthusiasm that would help define her life.
On August 31, 1952, she married Daniel E. Logan, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and community.
Known for her sharp financial and business acumen, Patsy was owner and secretary-treasurer of Bearcat Corporation for 23 years and a real estate broker with Zook Realty for 18 years.
An avid tennis player and active member of the Elkhart Athletic Club, she also had a deep love of travel, spending cherished time at the family cabin in northern Michigan and with friends in the Abacos. Later in life she settled part-time in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, where she was a member of the Art League and St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church. She also enjoyed several trips to Europe, including the Mediterranean.
A woman of faith, Patsy was a longtime member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Elkhart, Indiana, and later of St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
Above all, Patsy was devoted to her family. She always carried herself with grace and was deeply loved and admired by those who knew her. Her warmth, strength, and quiet dignity left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; her parents, Kenneth and Pauline; two siblings, Peggy Eberhart and Richard Zook; and great-grandson, Hawke Faloon.
Surviving are her four children: Timothy (Carole) Logan, Daneá (Joel) Bourdon, Ralph “Drew” (Tracy) Logan, and Liesa (David) Savage; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Grandpre.
Per her wishes, cremation will take place. Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 pm with a funeral service immediately following on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 226 W. Lexington Ave., Elkhart. There will also be a celebration of life on Friday, September 11 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Bent Oak Golf Club, 3610 Bent Oak Trl, Elkhart. Burial will be held privately later in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. An additional celebration of life will be held in Ft Myers Beach, FL at a later date.
