Beach Kids Foundation accepting scholarship applications
The Fort Myers Beach Kids Foundation is accepting scholarship applications.
The organization announced they are accepting scholarship applications for the upcoming 2026 school year.
“This is our favorite time of year,” Beach Kids Foundation member Deborah Groll said. “We awarded 21 scholarships last year.”
Groll advised interested applicants to visit the Facebook account of the Beach Kids Foundation to apply, or contact Groll at 239-850-6322, or by email at fmbkidsfoundation@gmail.com.
Students applying must need need to live on the Island, work on the island, or have parents, or grandparents that live or work on Fort Myers Beach.
The Beach Kids Foundation will have an awards dinner in July to present the scholarships.
The deadline to submit an application is June 1.
