Town to solicit comment on comprehensive plan Sunday at Bayside Veterans Park

The Town of Fort Myers Beach announced today that officials will be soliciting public input on the town’s comprehensive plan and land development code on Sunday at Bayside Veteran’s Park from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The town is gearing up for a review of its comprehensive plan which will require hearings by the town council and Local Planning Agency.
A previous outreach effort at the Fort Myers Beach Public Library last month drew more than 100 responses, with none of the respondents saying they support high-rise condo developments in response to a survey.
