Photos of the ongoing construction of the new Big Carlos Pass Bridge on Fort Myers Beach. The bridge, which faced opposition from the Town of Fort Myers Beach, when approved by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners, will replace the existing draw bridge. The project is expected to be completed in 2026 at a cost of approximately $90 million.
