Local church celebrates animal blessing event
In celebration of St. Francis of Assissi da, St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church will be having its annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. for the traditional service or 11 a.m. for the contemporary service.
All are invited to bring their pets to St. Raphael’s at 5601 Williams Dr Fort Myers Beach to the event. Special blessings and treats will be given to all pets at both services.If you are bringing a pet other then a cat or dog, please call Leeanna Parsons in the Parish office at 463-6057 so that we can have a treat available for your pet. For the safety of all the animals please make sure your pets are on a leash or in a carrier.
