Everyone’s favorite Fort Myers Beach markets are back at Santini Marina Plaza and Times Square.

The farmer’s market at Santini Marina Plaza is running three days a week this season, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The market at Santini Marina Plaza features fresh produce from 24karrot Produce, jewelry vendors including the Island Jewel, Greek food, quilts, jams, fruit juices, and other vendors.

At Times Square, the Fort Myers Beach market is running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market features the return of the Island jewel, and the return of King of All Guacamole, Starlight Bakery and homemade cookies, and the return of Sol Huna’s original artwork, shirts and handmade jewelry. Some new vendors include a smoothie vendor and lemonade stand

The markets are running through May.

“We’re looking forward to a great season,” Fort Myers Beach Markets organizer Linda Miller said. “We’ve got great customers.”

With the increase in the town’s parking meter rate from $5 an hour to $6 an hour, Miller said she is encouraging visitors to the Times Square market on Fort Myers Beach to use Lee County’s free Park and Ride, which offers free parking off Main Street and off Summerlin Square Drive with a cost of .75 per ride and .35 for seniors.

“There have been a lot of objections to the parking increase,” Miller said.
