The Marina at Bonita Fish Company adds shore power, opens November slip leasing
The Marina at Bonita Fish Company, managed by HM Restaurant Group, has added shore power for vessels leasing slips at the marina and is now pre-leasing for November. Located on Fisherman’s Wharf on Fort Myers Beach, the 30-slip deep-water marina offers direct Gulf access and accommodates vessels up to 100 feet.
Joe Harrity, a partner with HM Restaurant Group, said the new marina provides convenient options for boaters looking for overnight dockage to a longer-term base.
“The marina offers a combination that’s increasingly difficult to find in Southwest Florida – deep-water access, slips for larger vessels and a waterfront location with dining and entertainment just steps away,” Harrity said.
HM Restaurant Group manages Bonita Fish Company and neighboring Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille and Dixie Fish Company on Fisherman’s Wharf.
The Marina at Bonita Fish Company provides long- and short-term rentals, including overnight availability. It has 20- to 50-amp shore power and freshwater hookups, dockside pump-out service and wide stable floating docks with cleats and bumpers for secure tie-ups. The facility also offers slips for day boaters visiting any of the three HM Restaurant Group restaurants along the wharf. A fuel dock is located nearby.
Rentals are available through bonitafishco.com/marina and the Dockwa app. Boaters who sign a slip lease with a Nov. 1 start date will receive their first month free.
Marina guests enjoy direct access to HM Restaurant Group’s three establishments on Fisherman’s Wharf, including takeout and dockside food delivery, live entertainment, sunset views and waterfront dining.
The Bonita Fish Company opened last fall after HM Restaurant Group acquired the former property known as Bonita Bill’s Waterfront Cafe. The restaurant features fresh Gulf seafood, casual bites and cold drinks. It offers music daily, a central bar and serves brunch Friday through Sunday. Bonita Fish Company is located in a century-old historic Florida fish-packing house, and also offers bayside private events.
