De-Stressing — New mobile-spa business owner offers relaxation workshop Thursday
Rhonda Murray has been a resident of Fort Myers Beach for years. She’s always had an interest in health and wellness, and very eager to announce that she’s recently opened her very own Little Beach Spa mobile spa service, hosting an upcoming workshop “so everyone has the opportunity to learn how to de-stress and relax.”
Taking place Thursday, June 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Knotty Bean Coffee Bar in the Sea Grape Plaza, 2801 Estero Blvd., Rhonda says, “I recently opened my own business, Little Beach Spa, taking courses to become a relaxation therapist. It’s very important to learn how to relax. We’re told to relax, to calm down, but everything doesn’t work for everyone. There are so many ways to relax, and this workshop will allow guests to see just a few ways to do so, introducing people from different parts of wellness industry, offering different ways to relax.”
Come June 1, guests to the health workshop can look forward to meeting a certified laughter yoga instructor, another teaching the importance and benefits of essential oils, and a massage therapist, “who’s bringing his massage chair, giving massages as well as talking about relaxation and decompressing, energy healing and getting rid of technology for a while,”?Rhonda said.
The Little Beach Spa owner is a two-year Florida State licensed body wrapper, bringing her wraps and solutions to the Thursday workshop, introducing people to yet another form of relaxation therapy.
“This is our second workshop, and I’d like to continue growing it, expanding, offering additional workshops in the future with other members of the health and wellness industry, perhaps even have some fun overnight workshops,” Rhonda said.
She explains a little more about her mobile business, “I’m mobile right now as the Little Beach Spa, stopping by hotel rooms, homes, offering a full herbal body wrap with herb-soaked bandages while laying on a massage table,”?she said. “You get all the benefits of the herbs and minerals, really soothing, tightening and toning your skin while relaxing. It’s a very relaxing experience, and you can even lose a couple of inches at the same time.”
For those wishing to attend the Thursday workshop, RSVPs are requested but not necessary, with a $10 suggested donation. Enjoy complimentary coffee during the relaxing experience, as well as other pastries and treats available.
“There may be some who just wanted to stop by to see one or two speakers, and that is totally fine it’s open to all, for as long as they’d like to be there,” Rhonda said.
