The infamous State Days have returned. Steelers and Eagles fans will be taking over Bootleggers Waterfront Grill, 2500 Main St., for the seventh annual Pennsylvania Day Wednesday, Jan. 25. The fun-filled party begins at 11 a.m. with Philly cheesesteaks and Yuengling beer, along with plenty of other Pennsylvania favorites, and fans are invited to come out wearing their favorite team colors and costumes.

“If you are from the Keystone State, grab your friends and head over to Bootleggers for food and fun!” said RJ Snider, marketing director for Salty Sam’s Waterfront Adventures.

Live entertainment will be provided from 1 to 4 p.m. by Tim the One Man Band.

“There will be live music, dancing, raffles, food and drink specials, and classic football games playing on the big-screen TVs,” RJ?said.

Did you know Pittsburgh has more than 300 sets of city maintained steps? If they were stacked one on top of the other, they would reach over 26,000 feet high that would measure higher than a lot of the Himalayan Mountains. You never know what fun State Day trivia you’ll learn during these special gatherings!

And, don’t forget to enter to win a $100 gift card drawing, available for anyone who comes by that day.

“State Days are a ton of fun for us,” RJ said. “They bring in people from all over with a common core interest and it’s great to see everyone making friends, enjoying the State Day specials, and just having a good time!”

Not from Pennsylvania? Bootleggers still has celebrations planned for people from all over the continent.

Bootleggers will host the following state days:

Feb. 1: Buffalo/Rochester/Western New York Day

Feb. 8: Canada Day

Feb. 15: Ohio Day

Feb. 22: Wisconsin Day

March 1: Minnesota Day

March 8: Michigan Day

March 15: Illinois Day

March 22: Iowa Day

The staff is always open to adding additional days. If your beloved state/country isn’t yet hosted, be sure to let RJ?know and it’s possible one will be set up in the future.
