The Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery announced its upcoming juried exhibition, “Happy Accidents,” featuring original artwork created by member artists of the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. The exhibition will be on view beginning today through Dec. 7 at the association’s gallery located at 13451 McGregor Boulevard, in Fort Myers.

An award reception will be held on Friday, October 30 at 4:00 p.m. at the gallery.

The new show “Happy Accidents” highlights the creative discoveries that often happen during the artistic process.

Artwork displayed in the exhibition will be available for purchase, offering visitors the opportunity to take home original pieces created by local artists. The gallery is a working artist gallery meaning association members use the space to create new work and teach classes.

In addition to the exhibition, the gallery features a selection of artist-created notecards, including both professionally printed and handmade designs. Visitors can also discover the gallery’s popular “Mini Masterpieces” – matted 5 x 7-inch original artworks available for $20 each. All proceeds from Mini Masterpieces directly support the Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery and its ongoing programs.

The association will also be hosting a wine and cheese event ahead of the First Friday Art Walk on Friday, Nov. 6 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The association will be serving complimentary wine and cheese to visitors at the gallery.

The association will be having a courtyard sale outside their gallery on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The mini outdoor art market will feature original artwork and cards created by Fort Myers Beach Art Association members. The market will be held in the courtyard of the Cypress Square shopping center at 13451 McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.

The Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, from noon to 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to visit, enjoy the exhibition, meet local artists, and experience the vibrant creativity of the Fort Myers arts community.
