Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s “Essence of Water” runs through this Thursday
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association (FMBAA) show “Essence of Water,” a special exhibition exploring the beauty, movement, and meaning of water through a diverse collection of original artwork, ends its run at the association’s art gallery this Saturday.
The exhibit features paintings and mixed-media works created by Fort Myers Beach Art Association member artists in watercolor, acrylic, oil, collage, and multimedia.
Visitors will discover coastal scenes to contemporary abstract works that capture water’s ever-changing nature. All works are originals painted by local artists, and are available for sale. The gallery also has a large selection of unique greeting cards created by the artists. Every Saturday at 11 a.m. the gallery offers a free artist talk, check the website for details.
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery is located at 13451 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers, in the Cypress Square shopping center. The gallery is next to Prawnbrokers and near Blu Sushi, and Bellini’s.
The summer gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m., Thursday – Saturday, until October 14.
Admission is free and open to the public.
