Last week of “Cool to be Square” art show
Show open through Jan. 30
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s January show “Cool to Be Square,” is currently in its final week running through Jan. 30 at the Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery located at Cypress Square.
The creative showcase invites artists to explore the challenge of the square format, resulting in a lively mix of styles and media – from bold abstracts toserene landscapes – all unified by their perfectly balanced shape.
The gallery is open Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. at 13451 McGregor Blvd. Unit #1 in Fort Myers. Admission is free, and donations are appreciated. Visitors can vote for their favorite artwork for the People’s Choice Award.
Outside the Lines
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association is also simultaneously running a show at the Cape Coral Art Center titled “Outside the Lines” through Jan. 29.
The vibrant collection of artwork celebrates creativity, experimentation, and artistic expression beyond traditional boundaries, according to an announcement from the group.
“Outside the Lines” highlights the diverse talents of Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s members, featuring works in a variety of styles, mediums, and interpretations of the theme.
The show will be running Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cape Coral Art Center located on 4533 Coronado Parkway in Cape Coral.
Admission is free.
