Fort Myers Beach Art Association to hold student scholarship show Friday

Three seniors in the visual arts program at Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers will receive art awards totaling $3,000 on Friday from the Fort Myers Beach Art Association at the annual student art show.
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association gives the awards each year for the best work in the school’s senior art show. First prize is $1,200, second is $1,000 and third is $800. The selection is made by an independent judge paid by the art association.
The awards will be given at the opening reception for the senior show from 5:30 – 7 pm. The Cypress Lake High School Center for the Arts is at 6740 Panther Lane, Fort Myers.
