The Bay Oaks Adult Basketball League concluded last Wednesday with the two top seeds battling it out. Early in the first half, Wet Work jumped out to a quick eight-point lead with Marcus Price and Josh Stewart dominating inside the arc in the first half of play. As expected, Cache’s Team started the second half with key scoring runs led by Jason Brooks. Kyle McClintock came off the bench to hit several lay-ups to energize his team. Late in the game With 2.2 seconds and a chance to hit the game winner Jason Brooks pulls up form about three steps over the half court line and sinks the three ball to win the game. What a night!
Jason Brooks had this to say: “I took the same shot last week and was fouled and hit three big free throw to win that game, and I felt really confident that I could do the same thing that I did last week what a game”
Team Cache: Jason Brooks chipped in with 23 points.
Wet work Team: Marcus Price lead the championship as the high score with 32 points.
