Zoe
This little Jack Russell mix was surrendered after one family member got allergic. After four years with a family, this little girl ended up in a Kill Shelter, and of course was petrified. She was shy and stressed and needed to get out ASAP. Although still frightened, Zoe was attracted to my daughter, Caprice, and would sleep next to her. Bit by bit, she warmed up, and after a couple of accidents, she became housebroken again. She has been doing wonderfully, loves to walk and I do believe she’d be a great dog for conversation (she loves to converse with you). She understands everything you tell her. Remember: Jacks are very intelligent and very in-tune with their parent human(s). Zoe is dog-friendly but not so hot with cats. She loves to be petted and give kisses. Meet happy Hazel
This is the story of Hazel, a gorgeous, 1-year-old little female pup who could not be put in adoption and would have been euthanized if not pulled from the Kill Shelter.
She is a little youngin’ and only 27 pounds, which makes her very attractive to most homes seeking a rescue. She is very well built and extremely friendly, happy.
She came to our annual garage sale last weekend – a little timid with all the people going around her at first, but quickly warmed up and loved to be part of the attention. She got a lot of petting and compliments.
Hazel has a beautifully dark brindle color with white on her chest. She is not a laid-back dog, so would need to have some fun and dog park or – Dog Beach would be great for her! She is an action girl and loves other dogs. She definitively makes friends very easily. She is a social butterfly, for sure.
