Activities
There’s a lot happening in the conference room. The schedule for March is also available at the front desk.
If you’ve ever been curious about Hummels, or collected Hummels or have a few and are wondering what’s happening in that world, come to the presentation on Feb. 23. It will give you a lot of information and might even entice you to look at Hummels again or for the first time.
The presentation Feb. 24 on the Internet features Paul Murphy, BSE and MBA, who will share behind-the-scenes of Internet development. Pre-register.
Refreshing or learning a few basic phrases in Spanish can be achieved on Feb. 25.
If you want to try your hand at custom cardmaking, sign up for the class in the afternoon on Friday. Materials fee is only $4.

The new month introduces New Zealand on March 1 with focus on unique discoveries while visiting there.

Next Wednesday, March 2, author Susan O’Hara (“Tim’s First Baseball Game) will team up with Marsha in the preschool story hour. We look forward to her interesting story and pleasant time.

Diane Davis will provide a fun introduction and guidance in practicing painting basics. Pre-register. Don’t pass up this opportunity as it’s a rare opportunity.
Those interested or tempted to visit Australia are advised to attend the presentation on this country on March 3.

Red on Friday
If you notice staff wearing red on Fridays, it follows a decision to remember their loved ones. Three years ago, three staff had family members serving in the military and, at the time, in tumultuous locations. Since then, we still remember the two who continue to serve and the red reminds us of those who devote their lives to keep us free. We remain grateful for our veterans.

Don’t remember library hours? Call for information. When we are closed, a recorder gives the hours of operation, either on 765-8162 or on 765-8163. Except for holidays, which would be mentioned on the recorder, we are open Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 to 5; and Saturday 9-1.
