Upcoming Events
We hear a lot about the Internet. It’s fascinating to know what happened behind the scenes to start this mode of communication and how the Internet is structured, controlled and what it’s future may hold. Materials on Reserve
If you place materials on hold or reserve, be aware of a slight change to keep titles more readily available. We find that most people pick up their titles in a day or two after being notified. Beginning this week, we will hold materials for five days as a longer time is not needed for most people, and those few who took seven days often tended to lose holds because they weren’t picked up. The less than prompt pick-up meant materials were sitting on the shelves instead of being read and enjoyed.
Library Hours
When we are closed, a recorder gives the hours of operation, either on 765-8162 or on 765-8163. Except for holidays, which would be mentioned on the recorder, we are open Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We look forward to seeing you.
