Artist of the Month

Kendra Miller shares a special treat in offering a wide range of sepia tone photographs. The use of the specialized sepia gives the photographs a warm tone. You may find yourself lingering as you get an introduction to the latest love in her life, her pet dog, a ziva Hungarian vizsla.

In addition Kendra also offers a wall of Beach related scenes. She’s an innovative artist with a wonderful range of mind. Some of the sepia photos convey an image that invites being subsumed by light but yet isn’t. Making the ordinary extra special is a gift and this month’s display calls out for unwrapping the gift.

Zack

The Sr. Zone Display this month features ‘Divas from the Deep,’ mixed media delighting in shells from the hands of artist Cris Zack. Her talent is also evident in the upstairs case devoted to ‘woolie purses.’

Thanks

to those who share their talent and skills via a display in the library or by doing a presentation in the Conference Room

–to those who contribute to the Library Construction Fund; paying our loan back is special as is having the opportunity to do those important touches that extra funding makes possible.

-to those who put their cell phone on vibrator or turn it off before entering the library. Many appreciate uninterrupted thoughts without detailed conversations on topics one must endure from a distance.
