In support of Forrest Critser

To the editor:

I have known Forrest Critser for 50 years. We have worked together, played together, cried together and watched our children and grandchildren grow up over the many years. Several years ago, he invited me to come and see the paradise he had become a part of since he followed his minister son to Fort Myers Beach. Over the years I have helped him work at the Beach Baptist Church and in many homes on and off the island fixing things for the many friends he has accumulated over the years. I helped him with his previous narrow loss running for Town Council and like him was disappointed in this loss. He is very passionate about the happenings on his island paradise and is very tapped into the goings on. Recently, he has been working behind the scenes to get a memorial for veterans to honor his fellow comrades on the island. He has discovered firsthand the meaning of government red tape. He is running for Town Council again and I ask all island residents to vote for my friend Forrest “Butch” Critser. I further ask that even if you don’t vote for Butch; please go to the polls on March 17 and exercise your patriotic duty and vote. If you don’t use it you may lose it. Run Forrest run.
