Do nothing, nothing changes!
To the editor:
As an American citizen, I have a “right” to redress my government with grievances, local or otherwise.
I truly believe that FMB Town Council is un-American, overbearing regulations crazy, arbitrarily hostile to local businesses, and behaves like mafia bullies, using code enforcement to expand their city coffers.
Many businesses on our beach have suffered from harassment and bad decisions made by Town Council.
One example, we were told by beach officials, that the “refresh” Estero Boulevard road construction project would “only” take 18 months to complete! Here we are now, more than 4 years in, and the road is just barely over half way done! And several beach businesses have closed their doors for good because of this!
I believe FMB Town Council does not best represent “we” citizens of FMB, and are totally indifferent, if not hostile to the welfare of local business.
Town Hall, release your stranglehold on businesses and property owners with your heavy handed code enforcement and taxes!
