To the editor:

Your Marine Resource Task Force is trying to get a grip on our island’s lizards. There are a few types of invasive lizards on our island, along with some natives. Most do some kind of damage, either to property or to other wildlife. The types and numbers of lizards vary around our long skinny island and MRTF can’t be everywhere. Help us out, let us know what lizards you see in your yard, on your walks or anywhere you go on the island. Email us locations, just general street info to MRTFFMB@gmail.com. If you can’t positively identify the lizard, try to get a photo, or at least an accurate description. The Marine Resources Task Force will then take the information to our Town Council and see if we need a plan of action.
