The voice of the Democratic Party
To the editor:
What in the world has happened to the knowledgeable, respected, and admired Democratic Party? The party of John F. Kennedy, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison… and more, all who brought management experience to the powerful office they held? All of whom understood the value of truth, professionalism, and propriety?
Instead, today we have in the House of Representatives individuals who believe that their job is to simply attack President Trump and do everything in their power to undermine the forward movement of America.
One of the Democrat representatives, in a vile hysterical speech, called America’s President the worst of invectives. There were no reprisals and the leadership acted as if being disgustingly foul-mouthed was OK.
Then there’s Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, a 28-year-old bartender, with no political savvy who believes that she knows it all. Instead of listening and learning, she babbles drivel and makes absolutely no sense.
Speaker Pelosi, along with Congressman Schumer, out of fear, ignore the disgrace being brought upon the nation and instead advocate the making of America weak again.
There’s no doubt that President Trump will win reelection overwhelmingly.
The Dems have totally lost their focus and no intelligent American will vote for candidates from a party that is out of touch with progressive, respectable behavior.
We should continue to pray that our elected leaders will have wisdom in policy decisions and that our nation will turn back to God.
