Don’t curtail street art and performances

To the editor:

I was disappointed to read the article about Town Council possibly curtailing the street performers and artists who bring so much enjoyment to the visitors to Times Square during and after Season. Why would they want to prohibit talented artists from selling their art? These are souveniers for people to bring back home and a way for these artists to make a living.

I hope that Town Council will review this again and vote in favor of these fun people to keep Fort Myers Beach a fun place to visit.
