School officials get failing grades
To the editor:
Two precious children have been killed. It’s obvious that our school bus system is inadequate and placing youngsters in harms way. Sanity insists that we respond to a five-alarm fire here before another tragedy kills more defenseless children. And yet the school officials dawdle and involve themselves in talk and more talk with days going by without a solution.
We have overpaid school officials, especially the superintendent, and a babbling school board.
These are the people that we expect to step up, be responsible, and provide solutions.
These are the individuals that are being compensated to supply safety and security for the students.
These are the individuals that will have blood on their hands should there be another tragic disaster.
And these are the people who, by putting the kids in harms way, are letting us down!
It’s time to stop ducking their responsibility, stop talking, stop gambling with children’s lives and take responsible action before it’s too late!
