To the Fort Myers Beach Community
To the editor:
The Fort Myers Beach Library, staff, volunteers, and Friends thank all who attended the memorial for Dr. Leroy Hommerding on Jan. 26. Over 300 came to share their outpouring of sympathy, support, and kindness with the Hommerding family for the man who was the vision for our Library.
To all of the artist, musicians, speakers, and businesses who contributed to the memorial service, reception, and accommodations for the family, our heartfelt thanks.
And thank you to all who have made donations to the Library in honor of Dr. Leroy Hommerding.
The Library Board will endeavor to continue Dr. Hommerding’s vision for the Library.
