Margaritaville will not attract spring breakers

To the Editor:

I can not believe that the owner of the first MEGA hotel on Fort Myers Beach is trying to portray himself as just a small town local boy that wants to protect small town values. The reality is that he is a business owner that wants to keep competition away from his “gold mine”. He should be the last one to talk about maintaining small town local values when his establishment is well known for bringing in the most disruptive group to our small town values, the college spring breakers.

I do not believe that the new TPI – Margaritaville will be attractive to those individuals but instead to more adult, conservative family type individuals.
