Prose on the proposal

To the Editor:

April 9 is going to be a day to remember

Our island will hear of the TPI plan

Great anticipation of what will be brought forth

Many changes have taken place ever since it began

I think we all have agreed on one specific thing

Something in that area needs to be done

I feel this is a “top drawer” idea that has been finalized

Providing beauty, parking and a pool under the sun

So now hopefully what needs to take place

Is to hear and listen on the needs and concerns for both sides

But the ingredient that is a critical and a significant necessity

Is to come to an agreement together to make our downtown thrive.
