The SWFL CLEAN WATER MOVEMENT FESTIVAL
To the Editor:
The eco activism group SWFL Clean Water Movement held its first ever fundraiser and benefit as a non for profit corporation in the state of Florida at Valerie’s Lounge on San Carlos Boulevard in the Indian Creek Plaza. This indoor-outdoor event drew hundreds for clean water as a basic human right , six musical bands played for free, Daniel H Sohn, Canadiate for Commisomer of Agriculture spoke on stage, as well as the SWFL Clean Water Movement leader, John G. Heim. We as theSWFL Clean Water Movement would like to stop and thank all of the Fort Myers Beach community for sponsoring, donating, and attending the festival that is all of OUR cause. We would like to thank Val from Valerie’s Lounge and her wonderful staff for creating the venue for the eco activism group to spread awareness about the harmful effects from the Lake O Discharges. We would like to recognize council member Tracey Gore for always helping theSWFL Clean Water Movement on our quest for clean water as a basic human right here on Fort Myers Beach. We would love to thank Melissa from the Beach Bulletin newspaper for such great coverage during the event. We would like to thank all the volunteers who worked all day for free who truly believe in this fight for clean water locally, and to redirect the Lake O Discharges. TheSWFL Clean Water Movement Festival is just one of many more special events to promote clean water as a basic human right and to help raise awareness about OUR ecological disaster known as the Lake O discharges. Thank you Fort Myers Beach!
We all are members of the SWFL Clean Water Movement!
