Chamber official gives thanks to volunteers

To the editor:

Here it is the end of another year. As the New Year approaches, we at the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce would like to thank those terrific and wonderful volunteers that help us with so many of our events.

From Taste of the Beach to Pirate Fest and ending with the American Sandsculpting Championship, we could not do these events without the wonderful volunteers that make it possible.

To name them would be impossible. We always have around 50 that work Taste of the Beach with us and 250 to 300 that work Sandsculpting. These volunteers don’t hesitate when we put the word out that we need them. They just call and ask “where and when”?

So Volunteers you know who you are THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You not only make the events possible, you make them fun. I wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR. I look forward to working with you in 2015.
