Pen and paper action
To the editor:
It remains now to see if President Obama will recognize that the people are not in step with his lack of performance and act like a petulant child with his use of executive privilege. The question of concern now is what he will do about immigration. If his past performance is any indicator he will seek political revenge by the use of this pen and paper action.
Single handily he can do immense harm to the nation with this action. His legacy will continue to be one of disaster and destruction. His own party has made a serious attempt to distance themselves from him and his political ineptness. His domestic policy is irrational and his foreign policy is nonexistent. Making difficult decisions are not in his tool kit for governing this country. The wisest strategy for the Democratic Party will be to work closely with the Republicans to create damage control for now and then to try and rebuild their credibility for the future through bi-partisan cooperation and subsequent elections.
The Democrats survived the bumbling President Jimmy Carter but I suspect to overcome the failure of President Obama will be a more daunting task.
