FMB Fire District candidates with integrity
To the editor:
With all the political hype appearing on television and print, it is difficult to know which candidates to believe in. The ‘integrity’ button is used in all the ads, whether they be for a real estate agent or a political candidate. What can you get from a paid ad- not much in my opinion?
If you happen to know the individual, like I know Ted Schindler who is the incumbent for FMB Fire District Seat 5, the choice is easy. Ted is a highly decorated retired military officer, he is a Certified Financial Planner, formally educated but more importantly he has the common sense to be an effective commissioner. When he led the cut in the firefighter’s pay just after being elected almost four years ago, he told me how difficult that was to do to the firefighters and their families. He knew, however, that without the cuts in pay and expenses the district would go bankrupt. The FMB Fire Department may now be the most fiscally sound district in the county due to Ted’s untiring desire to give back to the community.
Let’s keep the common sense approach going with re-electing Ted Schindler.
By the way, I believe you will find Bob Raymond a worthy candidate who has a similar approach to the commissioner job as Schindler does.
Vote for Ted Schindler this coming Tuesday.
