Boat ride idea to alleviate traffic

To the editor:

Has anyone ever thought of a ferry boat or water taxi service from Bunche Beach to Fort Myers Beach?

By dropping off passengers at Bowditch Pointe and onto Lee Tran trolleys, it would help alleviate some of our traffic issues as well as help the businesses all over the island.

I think driving down Summerlin Road on the way to Sanibel and Captiva would entice some to take the ride to our island. There would be plenty of parking on John Morris Road.
