Wheelers send report and thanks
To the editor:
It’s been just shy of a year since our daughter Leann was diagnosed with a virus that had traveled to her brain.
After three major surgeries and a lengthy recovery period, we are glad to tell everyone that she is doing great with no permanent damages. Leann has been back in school and is healthy and happy as ever.
Our family would like to thank Mike DeCarlo and Lena, Valerie Van Selow and Bonnie Roberts for organizing a benefit on Leann’s behalf, all the great establishments on the Beach for participating and our friends and neighbors on the Beach for your thoughts, prayers and donations that helped us get through a rough time in our lives.
Fort Myers Beach is a great place to live. Happy Holidays!
