Volunteers thanked for sand sculpting service

To the editor:

Now that the dust and sand have settled, we at the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce want to thank ALL the wonderful volunteers that came out to work with us on the Beach during Sandsculpting 2013.

We had volunteers from as far as Canada that helped on Thanksgiving Day and as near as Bay Beach Drive that walked across the street to help more than one day. Sandsculpting is a huge event and takes many, many hands to make it successful. Our Volunteers are the very best and the hardest working group I have ever had the pleasure to work with. So many of you sign up with us every year and we have become friends. From the bottom of my heart, I want to Thank You!
