Clean water rally at Beach park Saturday

To the editor:

I, like many of us, were a bit disappointed to read about the low turnout of our beach residents during the rally a few weeks back. Unfortunately I (and others) could not make it, as I was on a business trip to the Tampa area. I regretted not attending.

My goal is to be part of all activity that affects our water quality here in and around Fort Myers Beach. Can anyone tell me if this area has an organized group for just such activities as I would like to be part of that group?

I thank all of our community who were able to make it out and look forward to participating in the future.
