Beach Little League to park cars/ seeks help

To the editor:

Fort Myers Beach Little League will once again be parking cars at Santini Marina Plaza the weekends of the Sand sculpting Competition. We would like to thank all the local business and residents for their patience during our participation in this event. Our league is exceptionally grateful for this important opportunity offered by Al Durrett. Our league is run by only volunteers; many of whom have full-time jobs and still make the time to commit to these fundraisers and activities.

This event will help us to cover the cost of scholarships, uniforms, equipment, insurance, league fees and a couple of important projects the league has been working on.

If anyone is interested in volunteering, or has a child that would like to participate, please contact us or see us the weekend of the competition.

Thanks to all those who have volunteered and supported our league throughout our many years on Fort Myers Beach.

Our league is a registered 501c3. All contributions are tax deductible . We are a all-volunteer organization.
