Fright Night a success with community help

2 min read

To the editor:

Bay Oaks would like to sincerely thank everyone involved for making our 24th annual Family Fright Night another huge success.

A special thanks to all of the volunteers who helped run the games and give out candy and also to those who helped scare everyone in the haunted house. Great community events like this are not possible without the help of the people in the community. It’s a great feeling to see everybody donate their time and effort so selflessly.

One of the major parts of the event was the candy donations we received (after all, it’s just not a Halloween without candy). Local business and individuals so graciously brought us candy in by the bagful and without that, this party would not be the same. Those donors deserve special recognition just as those who volunteered during the event, and they are: Publix, Smugglers Cove, Kaylee Collazo, Jungle Golf, Hooters, Citrolla’s, Pete’s Time out, Zushi, Sushi, Yucatan, The Beach Pierside Grill, Kilwin’s Topps Supermarket, Sunstream Realty, The Beach Theatre, Lion’s Club, Bank of America, Coldwell Banker, Ken Rapp, Beach Water, Red Coconut, BB&T Bank, Lani Kai, the Conidaris Family, Scott Gasparini, Dave Larson and Alida Smith.

Again thank you to ell involved and we hope to see you all again next year!
