Teenagers continue Beach cleanup

To the editor:

Thanks once again to my teenage crew of helpers.

In the past couple weeks they have cleaned, edged and cut the grass on the sidewalks from Seagrape Plaza to the south end of the island, making sure all the sidewalks, trolley stops and paper distribution areas were also clean. On July 5th, we walked three miles of the beach to clean up from the July 4th celebrations. Thanks to 7/11 for the free slurpees and to all those who have given us water along the way.

We will continue the clean up until the end of the summer vacation for the boys.

We’re hoping that everyone can do their part to help us out after that.
