Local wants more public access
To the editor:
Where is the public access going on the beach?
There are more and more umbrellas and lounges that are for rent and less area for the locals to put their own chairs and umbrellas up? So between the cost of parking, and renting umbrellas, and gas do you expect the locals to use your beach?
During off-season we are your bread and butter, but you don’t give us any discounts or incentives to use the beach anymore … help us out!! Open up the beaches again! Or give us free parking. Like it is, we have to pay to use the bathrooms as I only know of two public restrooms on the whole beach!
