“Big Band Theory” questioned

To the editor:

I tend to agree with Joseph Meece’s “Rant About Michel Moore” (Beach Observer, 5-22-2013), but I am not sufficiently familiar with the “Big Band Theory” that he claims is now taught in schools, to know whether or not it is “totally different than Darwin” as he contends.

I know my wife likes Big Bands, but I don’t know anything about the Theory. Perhaps he can further explain this education system problem.
