Kiwanis thanks all for community support

The Fort Myers Gateway to the Islands Kiwanis Club thanks all the restaurants and the purchasers of the $20 “Delicious Dining Discounts” Book that includes BOGO discounts for 59 restaurants in Lee County.
This community-minded effort from the restaurants and “Little Blue Book” buyers have allowed us to support a major portion of new playground equipment at Brightest Horizons Child Development Center, supply World Atlas books to all 4th graders at Heights Elementary School, and coordinate to provide free shots & purchase shoe certificates for a Back-to-School project, set for July 13th at The Heights Center. Other local community and children outreaches included a Harry Chapin Food Pantry Mobile Truck food distribution and a significant contribution to a Habitat for Humanity home that is very near completion.
Our Kiwanis Club is so fortunate to be a part of a caring community and we are so thankful to all who have helped us give back to the children and the community. If you are interested in being a part of such a great service organization, please call me at 415-3100. Thank You!
