Beach resident enjoys film festival
To the editor:
There are many different types of festivals that our island has hosted over the years denoting a celebration of all sorts. This past weekend was our Town’s Film Festival!
It was a FEAST of enjoyment that went on for four days. This all took place at our unique Beach Theatre.
There were documentaries, feature films and shorts that were so creative that either found you wondering what comes next or chuckling at the funny humor. The Q&A following many films gave such insight when some of the Directors, Producers or Screen Writers shared their experiences of how their work came into being.
When you consider the filmmaker workshop, the family film on the beach and the kids fest at Bay Oaks, all of that packed into such energetic entertainment for all that attended.
For all the people involved in making this such an remarkable event a success, I certainly hope that this outstanding venue continues to become an annual event.
